Our site visits are designed for Educators to experience Go journey Abroad’s student programs first-hand. The intention is to review different aspects of our Journeys (College Credit Academic, Service-learning, Wellness & Educational Tour Journeys).
We truly believe our program infrastructure is different and welcome you to see for yourself. If selected, participation for on-site scheduled activities is mandatory.
There is no cost for the on-site experience; however, participants are responsible for arranging and purchasing their own flight. Our site visits include:
Three meals per day, costs for cultural activities listed on itinerary, on-site transportation, international medical insurance and double occupancy hotel accommodations. Single room supplements available.

Merida, Mexico
Dates: November 26-29, 2026 (Alternative Thanksgiving)
Participants will partake in the following activities:
- Tour Host University and meet with its international office team members.
- Observe an academic class.
- Immerse and participate in cultural activities offered to participants.
- Experience an excursion outside of the city of study: Chichen Itza & Ik-Kil cenote.
- Stay at unique hotels selected for our programs.
- Visit student residence halls.
- Experience and review our transportation services.
Heredia, Costa Rica
Dates: December 17-20, 2026
Participants will partake in the following activities:
- Mingle and review multiple Host Family homes.
- Tour Host University and meet with its international office team members.
- Observe an academic class.
- Immerse and participate in cultural activities offered to participants.
- Experience an excursion outside of the city of study: La Paz & La Fortuna.
- Stay at unique hotels selected for our programs.
- Visit with a service-learning NGO.
- Experience and review our transportation services.
