Does my program require a Visa?
That depends! The length of your Journey and host country can factor in to this calculation. We are here to help. Give us a call and we will be able to advice accordingly. This is ultimately the participants responsibility as GJA does not provide visa processing services.
Do I need a Passport to travel?
A firm, yes! We love seeing our participants collect stamps. If you an not a U.S. citizen; however, please check with your local consulate, or embassy in regards to travel regulations to your host destination from the United States.
Where can I get or renew my passport?
If you already have a passport, the first thing to check is the expiration date. Ensure your passport expires 6 months from the return date of your Journey.
If you need to renew or get a new passport, visit the U. S. State Department – Bureau of Consular Affairs. The passport processing time can vary between 6-9 weeks. Need if faster? You will have the option to expedite the process. Eta will vary between 3-6 weeks.
